- Hi,
- I have been browsing around on the wais server for comp.dcom.fax and
- looking at the scorecard produced by mshiels and have the following
- questions
-
- What do people recommend as a good modem to use for flexfax on a Sun
- 3/60 under 4.1.1 (without any patches applied) with send/receive of
- faxes and also, the ability to dialup and log in.
-
- I have a scout+ external at the moment and am just running UUCP for
- mail. I plan to shunt that onto a PC and run the Delrina stuff supplied
- with it until I get the Sun sorted out. (BTW, I purchased the scout from
- wolfgang@netcom.com who was extremely helpful and prompt)
-
- Are there any bona fide class II's out there? I was not able to
- determine whether or not it has stabilised.
-
- should I just go and buy an everex?
- thanks in advance,
-
- naturally I will summarise if there is sufficient response.
