  12. We have been looking at Microsoft Access 1.0 as a client tool in
  13. a client-server environment with Sybase SQL Server.
  14.  
  15. So far we have only been able to get a list of the databases from
  16. the Server. The list of tables never come back. The application
  17. freezes and never returns. We have installed the Server piece that
  18. is required for Sybase SQL Server and available at COMPUSERV. We
  19. are running SQL Server 4.9. We have also tried recycling the Server.

  21. If anyone has a similar experience or any suggestions we would
  22. appreciate hearing from you.

  24. The tech support of Microsoft are too busy and rather unhelpful.
