- Dear Netters,
-
- We have been looking at Microsoft Access 1.0 as a client tool in
- a client-server environment with Sybase SQL Server.
-
- So far we have only been able to get a list of the databases from
- the Server. The list of tables never come back. The application
- freezes and never returns. We have installed the Server piece that
- is required for Sybase SQL Server and available at COMPUSERV. We
- are running SQL Server 4.9. We have also tried recycling the Server.
-
- If anyone has a similar experience or any suggestions we would
- appreciate hearing from you.
-
- The tech support of Microsoft are too busy and rather unhelpful.
-
- Thanks.
