  32. Hmmmmm, I've just started playing with choice fields(in APT 5.0)
  33. and have not tried turning one on or off(visibility) but I have
  34. been able to turn off tabability.

  36. According to the (5.0) manual you can not affect the visibility
  37. (and probably the tabability?) of a field if you are in that
  38. field.  It also states that trying to reset the visibility can 
  39. not be done in the pre-process of the field.

  41. Could you go back to the version in 4.2 and see if this is the
  42. case, i.e., you can turn it off as long as you're not in the field,
  43. but you can't turn it off if in the field?

  45. If there's a discrepancy in the way the two systems work I'd
  46. give Sybase Tech Support a call.

  49. APT-SQL Reference Manual/Section, Objects and Properties Chapter,
  50. p. 4-10 ;-)
