- Hmmmmm, I've just started playing with choice fields(in APT 5.0)
- and have not tried turning one on or off(visibility) but I have
- been able to turn off tabability.
-
- According to the (5.0) manual you can not affect the visibility
- (and probably the tabability?) of a field if you are in that
- field. It also states that trying to reset the visibility can
- not be done in the pre-process of the field.
-
- Could you go back to the version in 4.2 and see if this is the
- case, i.e., you can turn it off as long as you're not in the field,
- but you can't turn it off if in the field?
-
- If there's a discrepancy in the way the two systems work I'd
- give Sybase Tech Support a call.
-
- Oh, yeah, I got my info from the APT Workbench Reference Manual,
- APT-SQL Reference Manual/Section, Objects and Properties Chapter,
- p. 4-10 ;-)
