- Not true. We experienced this problem with the version of Sybase that
- we run on a Silicon Graphics computer (SGI). Currently the latest
- version of the Sybase server available for the SGI is version 4.0.1 .
- As this is quite an old relatively buggy version of Sybase, I spoke to
- Bill Smith of Sybase Inc. He is the product manager for Sybase on the
- SGI. He stated at the time (summer of 1992) that a project was just
- being started to upgrade Sybase for the SGI and that we could expect
- an upgrade to be available sometime in the early part of 1993.
