- Background:
- I have downloaded the most recent Winup7.zip from CompuServe!
-
- Dos Clients running Windows 3.1, OS/2 1.3 Server running Version 4.2 of Sybase
- Visual Basic front end
- User Written DLL routines to access Sybase
- using:
- DOS 5.0
- W3DBLIB.DLL
- DBNMP3.DLL
- NETAPI.DLL
- DOSNP
- DBNMPIPE
- User written DLL routines
- Netx
- (these are the most recent and recommended files from Sybase & Novell)
-
- Using Windows to call user written DLL routines. Any Sybase calls are
- done through these DLL routines.
-
- Problem:
- Cannot log back into the database after five successful logins. If Windows is
- exited and then re-entered, we can login succussfully another five times before
- we cannot do it again.
-
- We are using DBWINEXIT to exit Sybase. We are running a windows resource
- checker and it is indicating that we are getting all of our resources back
- after logging out of the database.
-
- We are using these applications in a real-time Steel Mill application. Any
- information on this would be appreciated!
-
- Thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
