  13. I have been trying to run an Ingres report using the unix Cron
  14. facility so that some report files can be automatically updated on a
  15. daily basis.  I use the report <database> <reportname> feature of
  16. ingres inside of an executable unix script.  If I run this script
  17. manually it works correctly.  If I set this up as a Cron job it does
  18. not work even when I preface all files with appropriate paths.  Since
  19. others have had problems making ingres programs (e.g. embedded SQL and
  20. 4GL) run under Cron I wanted to find out if there is a way to make
  21. this feature work.  If the job cannot be run automatically the
  22. usefulness of the ingres report writer goes to zero in this
  23. application.  I would appreciate any help on this matter.  Thankyou.
