- There exists a version of INFORMIX running standalone on a PC. The
- other possibility is to connect PCs via an ethernet and TCP/IP with
- a UNIX-Host. On the host will run Online and Star as Net-software,
- on the PC you have to run INFORMIX PC Net which will connect to the
- host. This works with version 4.x.
