  17. There exists a version of INFORMIX running standalone on a PC. The
  18. other possibility is to connect PCs via an ethernet and TCP/IP with
  19. a UNIX-Host. On the host will run Online and Star as Net-software,
  20. on the PC you have to run INFORMIX PC Net which will connect to the
  21. host. This works with version 4.x.
