- If I have potentially hundreds of customers with PCs ranging from lowly
- 8086-based ones up to 486 killers, what would be a good system? I know
- that it is not an easy question to answer with the limited data I've
- provided, but what they need is a membership-type application (fairly
- simple) with anywhere between hundreds to perhaps a max of 10,000
- (members) records. I'm thinking Foxpro, since I've seen what it can
- produce, and my partner is pushing Paradox. Oh, and we're basically
- looking at DOS-only for the time being. (But certainly Windows in the
- next few years.) I know that a year from now I might need to also
- produce a Windows version, and Foxpro and Paradox will (I think) fit
- the bill as well.
-
- I'm concerned with minimum system requirements, too. Anyone know what
- they and other packages need?
