- We recently restored Unify/Accell IDE from a tar onto an RS/6000.
-
- However, whenever a normal user goes to start up Unify (using "UNIFY"
- or "AMGR dbapp.al" at a prompt) they get a "Can't initialize Lock Manager.
- Error 13" Not -13, just '13' (which isn't listed in the in the U/A manuals).
- BUT, if I try it as ROOT, it comes up fine -- so obviously the permissions
- on SOMETHING got botched.
-
- My question is WHAT program(s) [or file(s)] permissions got messed up,
- and what SHOULD they be?
-
- E-mail would be much appreciated (my newsfeed is not real reliable).
- Thanks!
