- Summary: Does Ontos 2.01 for DECstations have a bug?
-
- I have come across what seems to be a bug in the Ontos 2.01 database
- system. I am currently writing an application that allows the user
- to create, compile and put to the database user defined Types with
- their user defined PropertyTypes during run-time. It also allows
- the user to create instances of those Types. The problem that
- I am having is with the method InstanceIterator::moreData(). It does
- not recognize the existance of instances of these user defined Types,
- even though a pointer to the instances is non-NULL. I know that my
- code works, because it works as it should under the Ontos 2.2 running
- on a machine at Ontologic. Is anyone out there familiar with this problem,
- and if so, do you know of a work-around? Anything that you could tell
- me would be greatly appreciated. If you have any questions, please feel
- free to reply back to me via e-mail. Thanks...
