  10. Summary: Does Ontos 2.01 for DECstations have a bug?

  12. I have come across what seems to be a bug in the Ontos 2.01 database
  13. system.  I am currently writing an application that allows the user
  14. to create, compile and put to the database user defined Types with
  15. their user defined PropertyTypes during run-time.  It also allows
  16. the user to create instances of those Types.  The problem that
  17. I am having is with the method InstanceIterator::moreData().  It does
  18. not recognize the existance of instances of these user defined Types, 
  19. even though a pointer to the instances is non-NULL.  I know that my
  20. code works, because it works as it should under the Ontos 2.2 running
  21. on a machine at Ontologic.  Is anyone out there familiar with this problem, 
  22. and if so, do you know of a work-around?   Anything that you could tell
  23. me would be greatly appreciated.  If you have any questions, please feel
