- Hi
-
- Does anyone know a good way of importing a comma delimited ASCII data file
- into a FoxPro database containing memo fields. When I try to do this the
- memo fields get ignored.
-
- Some of the fields are over 255 characters, so they cannot be loaded into
- character fields.
-
- I have had exactly the same problem with Paradox 4.0.
-
- Have you any suggestions for overcoming this problem? Is there any simple
- setting or the like to load memo fields. The data file looks something
- like this
-
- "key_field","A lot of text which may well exceed 255 characters"
- .......
-
- Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
