  12. I am having a dreadful time making Paradox and SQL Link work properly
  13. when accessing DEC's Rdb.  I have tried it with both 3.5 and 4.0.  I 
  14. am attempting to connect to a database via an SQLSELECTCONNECT statement
  15. where I have a Paradox screen prompt for Username and Password and then
  16. supply this information with the VALUES parameter list.  When I do this
  17. the messages at the right bottom of the screen tell me that I have connected
  18. to the database but do not tell me I have opened it.  When I attempt to 
  19. perform a query a remote table from the next script in the application it
  20. tells me there are 'No images present' and bugchecks.  If I attempt the 
  21. query the remote table manually it prompts me for a Username and Password
  22. again and then performs the query.  When I use the Connections screen it 
  23. tells me I have connected to and opened the database and then queries 
  24. can be performed as usual.  I have tried many other combinations and am
  25. getting more confused by the hour.

  29.  1) Are there any problems moving the replica tables from one directory to
  30.     another?  I have done this, is this the problem?

  32.  2) Any special setups in SQL Services on the VAX?  I am running the 'out
  33.     of the box' version with no configuration modifications.

  35.  3) Any other ideas??
