  11. We need to port some C code with embedded SQL, from Unix systems with
  12. Ingres, to personal computers using the WATCOM C/386 32-bit compiler
  13. in conjunction with the Pharlap 32-bit DOS extender.  Any opinions
  14. out there about what SQL products to use for this porting task?  We
  15. have obtained and evaluated the WATCOM SQL product, and it seems a
  16. reasonable choice (cheap, passable performance, works fine with
  17. WATCOM's compiler and Pharlap extender), but I'm not really aware
  18. of what other SQL products could support our chosen compiler and
  19. extender, or what advantages/disadvantages they might give us wrt
  20. WATCOM SQL, so I just thought I'd check around before I commit to 
  21. the SQL product choice for this port...

  24. course do so.  Answers right here would be preferred to allow
  25. others to debate them/add to them/whatever, though.  Thanks for
