- We wish to access an OS/2 Microsoft SQL Server v. 4.2a (on Lan Manager 2.1)
- via TCP/IP. The server is running Microsoft's TCP/IP.
- Our database server has been working fine accessed via named pipes, using
- SAF and JYACC's JAM as front ends, and we wish to know how to access the
- database via a workstation running either Microsoft or FTP TCP/IP.
- Specifically, we would like to run, for example, SAF or ISQL. Also, we'd
- like to compile a version of JAM for access via TCP/IP, but I assume we may
- need some additional help from JYACC's tech support to do this.
- Is this what SQL bridge does, and if so, how do we obtain it? Does it come
- standard with SQL server?
-
- Thanks for the information.
