  23. Not at all, it depends on the option used. If you tell it to "wipe all
  24. files on the disk", it will just zero the FAT and the root directory.
  25. Now, if a cluster is marked as bad in the FAT, zeroing the FAT will
  26. "mark" this cluster as a good one again.

  28. Conclusion: if you have bad clusters on your diskettes, don't use the
  29. -&w option; use -&f instead. Or even better - don't use those
  30. diskettes.
