  12. PKWARE informed me about a new version of PKZIP 2.04c which should
  13. fix many of the crashes and corruped environments the program currently
  14. causes. The main problem, according to PKWARE, is a bug in Quarterdecks
  15. QDPMI implementation.

  17. The new version is currently tested internally by PKWARE employees.

  19. I have no information about when a new version will be released and
  20. if all reported bugs will be fixed. I think it is very likely however
  21. the major problems currently present will be cured.
