  27. A plug here for the public domain version of zip/unzip (by the InfoZip
  28. group) - this is a program that works very well, AND exists in versions for
  29. several operating systems (I use it with UNIX on the Sun at work and with
  30. (4)dos on a 386SX clone at home - it even has a switch for converting text
  31. formats) - much better than PKZip 1.1 and a buggy 2.04.  I think it ought to
  32. be more widely used than it is.  It is PKZip compatible.
