  14. Does anyone have the encoding algorithm used
  15. for the VCR+ devices (the ones that simplify
  16. VCR recording by using a custom remote and
  17. magic numbers out of TV Guide)? I'd like
  18. to use it as a practical example of the
  19. value of compression (in this case, compressing
  20. channel, start time, duration, and date into a
  21. six digit integer [at worst]).
