- Does anyone have the encoding algorithm used
- for the VCR+ devices (the ones that simplify
- VCR recording by using a custom remote and
- magic numbers out of TV Guide)? I'd like
- to use it as a practical example of the
- value of compression (in this case, compressing
- channel, start time, duration, and date into a
- six digit integer [at worst]).
