- I've found this whole thread a bit puzzling, since I'd never heard that the
- "--" that some people use to introduce their signatures meant anything. But
- if some programs are written to recognize it as a signature delimiter, why
- not have Waffle insert it automatically, in place of the blank line that Waf-
- fle puts there now? One benefit would be that it wouldn't have to count
- against the 5-line limit that Waffle sometimes enforces.

- Incidentally, I suppose that the argument in favor of the trailing blank is
- that this would allow the user to put in "--" lines without the blank and not
- have them interpreted as signature delimiters.
