- You don't have to #ifdef/#endif the code, the same code would work on UNIX,
- and have the side effect of stripping out extra <CR> characters. (which
- would be good).

- I'm not saying that Waffle should be modified. It's really a pretty silly
- problem. What I was sick and tired of was people wining "DOS sucks, DOS
- *always* treats ^Z as EOF, it's too hard to fix, it's too inefficient
- to fix, etc.etc.etc." People should really learn how an operating system
- works before complaining about it. (And don't put me down as a "DOS is
- really great" person: DOS is a terrible, inefficent OS. But treating ^Z
- as EOF is only DOS's *default* mode, if you make a little effort you can
- make a better product.
