  19. You don't have to #ifdef/#endif the code, the same code would work on UNIX,
  20. and have the side effect of stripping out extra <CR> characters.  (which
  21. would be good).

  23. I'm not saying that Waffle should be modified.  It's really a pretty silly
  24. problem.  What I was sick and tired of was people wining "DOS sucks, DOS
  25. *always* treats ^Z as EOF, it's too hard to fix, it's too inefficient
  26. to fix, etc.etc.etc."  People should really learn how an operating system
  27. works before complaining about it.  (And don't put me down as a "DOS is
  28. really great" person: DOS is a terrible, inefficent OS.  But treating ^Z
  29. as EOF is only DOS's *default* mode, if you make a little effort you can
  30. make a better product.
