- What type of driver? Windows 3.1 includes a MIDI driver for AdLib, and
- it works. There is a PD sound drive (for WAV files) which can be
- retrieved from:
-
- ftp.cica.indiana.edu:/pub/pc/win3/sounds/adlibw.zip
-
- This file can be installed in parallel with the MIDI driver, allowing
- digitized sound effects that sound a bit better than the PC speaker.
-
- For playing ROL files while in Windows, try this shareware demo:
-
- ftp.cica.indiana.edu:/pub/pc/win3/demo/fmdemo.zip
-
- These drivers can be installed in parallel with the above. A ROL file
- player is included, and it's somewhat Windows-friendly.
