  16. That's perfectly all right and welcome.  I'll try to give what I
  17. know.  There are three Garbo mirrors, and only one is in US, that is
  18. wuarchive.  It and the reast are listed in the MsDos FTP site list

  25. The said list gives the major mirror directries at the relevant
  26. mirror sites.  There doesn't seem to be an overall convention.  It
  27. is more or less individual on the mirrors, just like it is on the
  28. actual parent sites.  Thus the moder18.zip list is really the first
  29. key to your questions.  (Which, incidentally, are very relevant in
  30. this group, just like I am pleased to say has been practically
  31. everything that has been going on in here).

  33. The summary (whether speaking of mirroring or the original sites) is
  34. that each FTP site is an indivudual even if there can be
  35. similarities.  Occasionally there have been demands to standardize
  36. (in comp.archives.administrative a year ago), but my response has
  37. been that if someone wants to standardize, they are welcome to take
  38. their cues from us, or pay us really handsomely.  Keith's response
  39. has been approximately the same.
