- The IEEE MSS&TC Data Management Specialist Workshop project
- committee meeting will be held on Wednesday, Jan 20th at Scripps
- Institute in San Diego. We will meet in the Martin Johnson House
- (building T-29). There will be no registration fee, however,
- there will be a parking fee. Parking permits are required and can
- be bought at the Management Site (building T-29) for $8.00 (all
- day) and $4.00 (half day). I will fax a map to folks that confirm
- there attendance.

- is sponsoring a series of specialist workshops on data management.

- The purpose of the specialist workshop series is to

- management systems and storage systems.

- Data Format,
- Data Organization, and
- Storage Systems

- 3. Make a recommendation to the IEEE about the need for new
- standards (or about the lack of need).
