  15. in most papers the PEAK performance of the 50MHz i860XP is given as 75 MFLOPs
  16. (double prec.) and 42 MIPs. The 75 MFLOPs are pretty clear to me but where are
  17. the 42 MIPs are coming from. IMHO the 50Mhz chip should have a PEAK performance
  18. of 50 MIPs.                                                    ^^^^
