  15. I recently heard that a group at MIT has come up with an ``optimized''
  16. technique for setting the basis widths in an RBF net given a
  17. ``reasonable'' set a basis centers.

  19. I imagine this would have to make some assumptions about the target
  20. space.  Does anyone know what this reference is?
