  10. For the last three years I've been enjoying a 'programmer's
  11. perspective' on the Schankian school of AI, and having now been
  12. (rather rudely) cut free, I'll be posting a series of meditations
  13. on what I learned there (Northwestern's Institute for the Learning
  14. Sciences).  Since Schankian AI is not everyone's cup of tea, and
  15. since my own perspective is centered on the application of
  16. Schank's ideas to interactive fiction, I think I'll be happier
  17. posting to rec.arts.int-fiction than here. (If anyone has a problem
  18. with that, write me.)  Regarding my termination, I'll just say
  19. it was the age-old conflict of the artist and the *connoisseur*...
