- There's something to be said for this. As soon as amendment 23 passed,
- California's equivalent of CFV announced that it was going to put its
- own version on the Ca. ballot. There was a piece on it this morning
- in the San Jose Mercury News. This isn't a local thing, it just happened
- to happen in Colorado first. No one expected the thing to pass in
- Colorado, either, it seems. It has to be talked about openly and in
- many places.
