  20. the most common manifestations of heterosexism (prejudice based on sexual

  27. that they might have something of that sort deeply buried in their own psyches.

  29. Gays have no "minority status" (a fuzzy phrase from a fuzzy mind, anyway), nor
  30. special rights, nor is there any being sought, so far as I can tell.  The only
  31. goal legislatively is equally applied non-discrimination protection.  Where
  32. did you get the fantasy that there were special rights involved?  Wrong.

  38. I don't know of anyone seeking affirmative action for gays.  I think that is
  39. a bogeyman of your own mind (and those who think as you do), and that it
  40. reveals more about you than about gay rights.
