  16. POSITION:     UNIX System Administrator
  17.  
  18. GENERAL:      Applicants must be able to assist with administration
  19.               and support of a heterogenous network of primarily Suns, 
  20.               but also PC's and Xterms. Should have a minimum of 2-4 
  21.               years experience working in a UNIX environment.  A solid 
  22.               working knowledge of UNIX based networking, PC/LAN experience, 
  23.               configuration management, and end user support a plus. 
  24.               Excellent verbal and written communication skills desired.
  25.               The title for this position is Software Engineer, supporting
  26.               UNIX development in the Software Engineering organization.

  28. DUTIES:       Maintain system files (fstab, crontab, passwd, etc.),
  29.               install third party software and related upgrades, administer
  30.               maintenance procedures, perform general user administration 
  31.               (new accounts, requests, problem determination and resolution), 
  32.               help with planning and system growth determination.

  34. REQUIREMENTS: BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely 
  35.               related field, plus 2-4 years experience; or AA degree
  36.               with 4+ years experience.
