- Subject: PC-SAS--Zipcode maps

-
- A researcher wants to produce maps, displaying the number of cases for a
- particular condition by zip code. (For the first cut, he's only
- looking for different fill patterns or simple outlines with the number
- of cases.)
-
- He's asked about the "MapInfo" (r) product and its data files.
-
- As we already have PC-SAS and /Graph, I called Geographic Data
- Technology (Lyme, NH) and found that they sell zip code maps
- in PC-SAS format.
-
- Can any other list-member respond with their experience in
- using the GDT data files? [Can anyone compare the two approaches?]
- (I'll provide a digest of responses to the list for those who send
- mail directly to me.)
-
- Thanks for the help.
