  14. Hello all,
  15.   I've been watching this list for a couple weeks now and haven't seen
  16. much about SAS running on VSE. (Yes, I know it is an old operating system,
  17. but that's okay, it's running on an old computer).  I'm new at programming
  18. in SAS and there isn't really anyone else around here that knows much about
  19. it.  The files that I am reading are VSAM files used by a library management
  20. system (in this case KeyNOTIS).  The questions in this message don't have to
  21. do with reading the files.  They have to do with the output.

  23.   In our system the SAS ouput goes to the list queue before it is printed.
  24. Every time I run a job I get two output files in the queue.  One is for
  25. the actual SAS listing and the other is the program output.  In the file with
  26. the reports though I am also receiving all kinds of extra garbage that the
  27. people the reports are for don't care about.  Things like JCL and file format
  28. things.  What I want to do is turn this off or direct it to another file in
  29. the list queue.  Does anyone know if there is a way to do this?
