- ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING THE PSYCHOLOGY
- GRADUATE STUDENT JOURNAL
- REQUEST FOR PAPERS
-
- The PSYCGRAD Journal is beginning operations. The
- spirit behind producing the journal will at first be to publish
- papers which are more extensive than what is normally seen on
- the bulletin board PSYCGRAD. At least this will be the first
- phase. Acceptance for publication will be based on supply and
- demand principles. At first, the supply of papers may be low,
- and acceptance for publication will be made based on a high
- demand from the editor to create a volume of the journal.
- Later, as the supply of submitted papers increases, the
- editors' demand for papers will go down. Then, the editors may
- be more selective in their acceptance of papers. Only the
- higher-quality papers will be accepted.
- Papers submitted here may be published elsewhere. In
- fact, the journal can provide an excellent clearing house of
- useful ideas and feedback. This feedback can provide authors
- with excellent material for revising their articles before they
- are published elsewhere. Peer review is helpful. The
- current call for papers is from editor Kathy Morgan. She
- requests submission of articles on the following:
-
-
- * Feature Topic: Animal Behavior
-
- Topics of articles may include, but are not limited to:
-
- *applied animal behavior
- *Enrichment protocols for animals in research
- *theoretical papers
- *research papers
- *editorial opinions re: particular theories,
- approaches, controversies in the field.
-
-
- * Please send your submissions to...

- * Articles which have been accepted for publication will be
- compiled into a volume of The Psychology Graduate Student
- Journal: The PSYCGRAD Journal. The Psychology Graduate Student
- Journal is a production of The PSYCGRAD Project. For more
