  11. I am considering taking the plunge and buying a 386 machine (used, but
  12. refurbished by a reputable local company).  There has been some discussion
  13. of video cards that don't work so well with NB.  The one I am considering
  14. has a Genoa VGA card running a NEC Multisync monitor.  I have never heard
  15. of Genoa, and a search of back discussions on this list comes up empty.
  16. Is there anyone out there who has this card and has had problems?  I don't
  17. expect to run Lingua in the foreseeable future, but I'd like to know what
  18. I'm getting.  Reply off-forum.

  20. If anyone wants to give me any other free advice, the machine is a 386/dx16,
  21. with an 80-some meg Seagate MFM hard drive.  I forgot to ask exactly which
  22. processor (duh).
