- Odeda having opened the way to the possibility of sounding insulting
- by suggesting the obvious, may I compound any injury?!

- Are you sre that you are actually loading the versions of default.set
- that you think you are loading? If, for example, there is an
- adventitious copy in a subdirectory earlier in the system path than
- \nb3, then no matter what you do to the one in \nb3 it will not be the
- one which is loaded. From within NB, give the command "find
- default.*"; this will find every possible copy and backup copy of
- default.set, and you may surprise yourself. I offer this suggestion on
- the basis of the experience of my own personal stupidities, and being
- embarrassed by what I discovered!
