- Using VMBACKUP and Quiescing the disks sounds like a good idea. With
- a lot of archiving going on, if they don't Quiesce the disk it is likely
- to change in the middle of being copied, isn't it? But as I read this
- I was wondering whether VMBACKUP would take that long if you used
- DASDTapes (where it copies to a disk in some mysterious format, instead
- of using a tape). We have never used them here, so I don't know, and I
- don't know about their drawbacks if any - just wondering.
