  12. It appears that some people believe that compilers for the PL/S family
  13. of languages exist only for the 370/390 processors.  This is not the
  14. case.  I am aware of PL/x compilers for the Intel 80x86 processor
  15. family as well as for the engines used in the 3880 control units.
  16. It is highly likely that other processors are also supported.
