  13. I have used STELLA at Washington State University.  It is a great product
  14. that is easy to use.  STELLA uses a graphical representation to build models.
  15. This makes it easy since less equations are involved.  The software generates
  16. the differential equations from the diagram.  Relationships and variables
  17. are defined by connecting arrows to various boxes.
  18. It is a general purpose package so it can be used in a variety of disciplines.
  19. It is best for large simulations to have a powerful MAC to run the system.
  20. I have seen it used on SE's and it is very slow.  I use a MACIIci.
