- I am involved (with one other person) in setting up a half-day
- pre-conference symposium for the TESOL conference to be held in Atlanta
- in mid-April. We are looking for two non-ESL types (preferably) to
- present briefly on the following and then to be available for questions
- afterwards. There may also be a publication coming out of this. The
- topics are:
-
- Evaluation and Retention of Personnel
-
- Organizational Behavior
-
- The speakers would have to assume little knowledge but great interest on
- the part of the audience (program administrators or those seeking to be
- such), and would have to begin with general nitty-gritty stuff.
- However, then a move could be made to PCT theories of the topic.
-
- Is there anyone in the Atlanta area who might be interested? The
- symposium will be on Tuesday April 12th (?) (no calendar in front of me
- right now) from 8 to 1. Naturally, this being related to ESL teaching,
- it pays a maximum of $33.33 and there is no funding for housing or
- transportation. But, for someone in the area it might provide a good
- opportunity to let others know about PCT.
-
- Please let me know if you have any interest.
