  13. I am involved (with one other person) in setting up a half-day
  14. pre-conference symposium for the TESOL conference to be held in Atlanta
  15. in mid-April.  We are looking for two non-ESL types (preferably) to
  16. present briefly on the following and then to be available for questions
  17. afterwards.  There may also be a publication coming out of this.  The
  18. topics are:

  20. Evaluation and Retention of Personnel
  21.  
  22. Organizational Behavior
  23.  
  24. The speakers would have to assume little knowledge but great interest on
  25. the part of the audience (program administrators or those seeking to be
  26. such), and would have to begin with general nitty-gritty stuff.
  27. However, then a move could be made to PCT theories of the topic.
  28.  
  29. Is there anyone in the Atlanta area who might be interested?  The
  30. symposium will be on Tuesday April 12th (?) (no calendar in front of me
  31. right now) from 8 to 1.  Naturally, this being related to ESL teaching,
  32. it pays a maximum of $33.33 and there is no funding for housing or
  33. transportation.  But, for someone in the area it might provide a good
  34. opportunity to let others know about PCT.
