- I am working on a transaction to show who is on our cics system(their name,
- the terminal their on, and the task they are in). Currently we use the
- inquiry exec command to get this information. Our problem is that when we
- issue an inquiry command it seems we only get the task name if the task is
- active. All our in-house programs are written psuedo-conversationaly, thus the
- inquiry does not show that terminal is waiting to statrt a task when any action
- key is pressed. From looking at manuals I think I would need to access system d
- ata areas but I have no detail manuals(eg DOS/CICS/Data Areas) to see what is
- available and how to access it. Would anyone have any thoughts on this. We run
- CICS 1.7 for DOS.
-
- If anyone has any information please send it directly to CHUCK@UNK.UNK.EDU, sin
- ce I am not subscribed to cics-l. Thanks.
