  13. Has anyone connected a Pioneer DRM-600 to the SCSI Host Adapter card
  14. that is in a pc (rather than the SCSI card that comes with the
  15. Pioneer)?  In the configuration that I am attempting, the hard drive
  16. is the first SCSI device connected to the SCSI Host Adapter
  17. (installed in a 386sx BTW) and the adapter has an external connector.

  19. I was hoping to simply use this connector and connect the Pioneer to
  20. it rather than to the additional SCSI card.  The cable that came with
  21. the Pioneer also does not work as the end that plugs into the card
  22. has a 25 pin connector.  The SCSI Host Adapter card that is already
  23. installed in the pc has an external port that requires a cable with
  24. the same end as that which plugs into the Pioneer.  I believe
  25. that I have acquired a cable that will do the job; however, things
  26. are not working. :-(   I have the Pioneer ID set as 1 (the hard drive
  27. address is 0 and the adapter card's address is 7) as best as I can
  28. determine.  Alas and alack, so many variables, so litte expertise.
