- and we are looking for people to fill the following positions:

- DIRECTOR OF SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT:
- The ideal candidate has managed a process resulting in a
- significant planned change in an organization; is able to
- maintain clear interpersonal communication, responding to and
- pro-acting with marketing about what technology can provide; and
- will have the ability to manage people dedicated to acquiring
- knowledge of the opportunities that technology makes available,
- and to ensure that this knowledge is used so that we do not "re-
- invent the wheel". This is a senior management position.

- Requirements include:
- ** 10 years of management experience with a minimum of 4
- years managing a software engineering group of 15 or more
- engineers
- ** B.A. in Computer Science or equivalent
- ** experience in evaluating, selecting, and integrating
- technology which is licensed or purchased from other
- organizations
- ** prior direct management of an automated software test
- department
- ** project management experience for large software
- development projects using a formal project management
- methodology which resulted in the creation of software
- products marketed outside the creating company
- ** proven ability to deliver leading edge technology in a
- cooperative dialog as an equal partner with Marketing

- LIBRARY DIRECTOR:
- The Library Director will manage the SilverPlatter Library and
- provide information and research services to all levels of
- management and staff. The Library Director will be responsible
- for the effective operation of the Library, conduct research on
- new markets and new products as well as competitive research;
- provide a current awareness service for management.

- Requirements include:
- ** MLS from ALA accredited Library School
- ** Experience in running a corporate library
- ** Research skills
- ** Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- ** Database searching expertise
- ** Familiarity with CD-ROM technology
- ** Internet experience

- DIRECTOR OF USER TRAINING:
- The Director of User Training will help to encourage and expand
- the use of SilverPlatter products by providing training and
- developing training and instructional tools in the use of
- SilverPlatter's information products. The Director of User
- Training will also plan and implement a program for worldwide
- SilverPlatter training, develop training tools, and supervise
- trainers. Extensive travel (50-75% is required in this position.

- The ideal candidate will have experience in directing a training
- program, as well as experience in designing and implementing
- training tools (Computer Based Training, videotape, manuals).
- Additionally, this position requires cooperation and coordination
- with other SilverPlatter offices and with distributors of
- SilverPlatter products.

- The above positions are based in our Office in Norwood,
- Massachusetts.

- INDEXERS AND ABSTRACTORS:
- SilverPlatter Information, Inc. in Pasadena, California is
- seeking librarians and nurses for full- or part-time positions as
- indexers and abstractors. Previous experience with indexing will
- not be necessary as on-the-job training will be provided.
- Experience with nursing research and/or computerized literature
- searching would be helpful. Indexing can be done at home or in
- our office in Pasadena.
