I dont know if this is already being done but if it isn't I wish to take this
task on initially. I'm looking for a list of systems in the Bay Area who offer
any sort of Internet access at all. Be it UUCP, mail, ftp, telnet, irc, usenet,
anything dealing with the net. What I ask is that system admins send me mail
about their systems such as the types of info that the *Nixpub Listings show.
The only other sources of this kind of information that I know of is the
*Nixpub Listing and the PDIAL listing. These only show systems who have
fulltime Internet links. They dont show systems like Darkside of The Moon,
or any of the other BBS type systems who offer mail and Usenet. If you are
not the system admin of your system and you mail me info please include the
internet address of the system admin for that system. Please mail me though.
I know that for one reason or another I wont get all the systems the first time
out. Anyone who wishes to help me undergo this task(and will be willing to take
it over completely in a few months) e-mail me also.
