- WARNING!! WARNING!! WARNING!! WARNING!! WARNING!! WARNING!!
-
- Before you download any demos from the Party II, READ THIS!!
-
- Ok, I downloaded the demos in the first eight positions.
- I hoped at least that these guys knew how to program, but boy
- was I WRONG?!? Of all the demos only ONE worked with 68030!!!
- Two of them didn't even work when switched to 68000!!. (Even
- that Skid Row debugged two of them didn't help!)
-
- This is a shame! What can we do to help those poor novice amiga
- programmers to learn how to program? One guy have started a
- 'How To Code' doc file, and I find that VERY GOOD!! Keep up
- the work! All of you knowing any Amiga coder out there, PLEASE
- show them this doc file or at least tell them that there exist
- other Amigas than their owns! Now that A4000 and A1200 came
- out it's even more important to consider other processors than
- MC68000 and other graphic chips than ECS and older.
-
- How can a demo win a competition without working?? That
- is a major question! Only Shinings demo worked on 68030
- and it was in place five! Don't they TEST their work before
- release??? What would happen if I bought a new car and when
- it starts raining the chassi would meld or the the wheels get
- loose?
-
- Ok here is my list. My configuration is:
-
- A2000
- A2630 (68030 with 4 Meg 32bit memory)
- A2320 Flicker Fixer
- 8Up Memory card with 6 Meg (only using 4)
- GVP Serie I SCSI card
- ECS Agnus and ECS Denise (1 Meg Chip)
- 2.04 ROM (37.175)
-
- (The accelearor card is switchable to 68000 in bootup)
-
-
- Pos Group 68030 68000
