  23. -> absolutely absurd.  The entire concept of a university was founded
  24. -> around advancing theological study.  Indeed, the term "professor"
  25. -> began as a reference to one who was a "professor of the faith" and
  26. -> who studied it regularly.

  28. Secularism is not forced on the population. The First Amendment
  29. protects both your right to privately practice your religion and
  30. my right to be free of your religious practices. You can go to any
  31. church, temple, or shrine you wish. You can teach your children to
  32. believe in any god you wish. How are you being "forced" into
  33. secularism?

  35. If you're talking about schools, it's a violation of the
  36. Establishment Clause to teach kids "God does not exist," just as
  37. it is a violation to teach them "God exists." Unless you'd be
  38. just as happy having your kids in one class taught atheism, in
  39. another fundamental Baptist theology, and in a third Goddess-
  40. worship, why do you object to the First Amendment?
