- I also remember reading about the experiments done with a motivation to
- conclude, wether or not the soul had weight. The experiment was done on
- terminally ill patients. I *somehoe* feel that the disease was terminal
- tubercolosis, not sure, though. Anyway, the experiment was started, when it
- was sorta known that the patient was almost on the blink, so as to speak.
- It seems, as if the bed of the patient was placed on a weighing device, and
- his/her weight recored in regular intervals of time. now, the body looses
- weight because of perspiration etc. their instruments were good enough to
- detect this also. they found that before the patient *expires* the loss of
- weight is almost a constant, which they attributed to perpiration etc. and
- at about the time of expiration, the loss in weight, seems to show a
- significant increase. The experiment had to be discontinued because of
- ethical reasons, i.e patients' relatives et al caused a fuss.
-
- Sorry, but I dont any any refrences whatsoever, I read this atleast some 7-8
- years ago.

- Another interesting thing is the weight of the astral body. Munroe, in this
- book seems to suggest that indeed, the astral body does have some weight.
- Further, physical objects *are* a barrier to the astral body, in the sence,
- the astral body has a resistance while passing thru objects. In my lab,
- there are a bunch of weighing thingys, which can measure weights, even to
- the million of a gramme.
-
- Suppose, an oobe'er was to attempt to poke his hand thru such a sensitive
- balance. I was wondering, if the balance would show a momentary reading,
- because of the resistance offered by the physical balance to the astral
- body. I think this is one experiment that would be interesting to carry
- out.
