  16. you know, when I bought "Roadside" the book seller guy told me he didn't
  17. think I'd enjoy it, that usually only men like it.  (I'm a chick w/ a
  18. guy's name).  I told him I doubted it, that I loved all of Robbin's
  19. other stuff.  I was WRONG.  I hated it!  I thought it was bland, boring
  20. and way way too self-indulgent without being amusing.  Kind of like Tama
  21. Janowitz's second "A Cannibal in Manhattan."
