  10. Since Hollywood has decided to produce "Cowgirls", I have been
  11. seeing more book jackets and Tom Robbins recs on book jackets lately.
  12. One book "Fool on the Hill" by Matt Ruff claimed to be a "cross
  13. between Tom Robbins and J.R.R. Tolkien.  I enjoyed the book.  It was a
  14. lot like "Jitterbug" and "Skinny Legs" - an epic.

  16. I received a book for Christmas called "Reality is What You Can Get Away
  17. With" by Robert Anton Wilson.  It is "an illustrated screenplay" that
  18. has a quip by Tom Robbuns on the cover.

  20. Has anyone read this yet?  I haven't started it yet.  I am a little
  21. leary, since my mother hasn't had a great track record for her
  22. choice of books she gives me.
