  34. Also, after watching Walsh on MacNeil-Learher nearly in tears with his
  35. voice cracking and coming unglued with rage after the pardons, it's
  36. pretty obvious that his objective abilities are gone.  He should be
  37. fired for violating the ABA canon on prosecutorial prejudgement.

  39. Incidently, wasn't the "diversion" performed by a third party?
  40. i.e.

  42.     U.S. sells arms to 3rd party at a competetive rate and the
  43.     profits are deposited in the U.S. Treasury.  Totally proper.

  45.     3rd party re-sells arms to Iran for outrageously high price.
  46.     (Basically screws them over).

  50. So in reality, no U.S. funds were given to the contras.  They essentially 
  51. used Iranian money. Can't think of a better use!
