- could someone explain to me what is the signaificance of this expression:
- "long island lolita"? on any account i'm sick of hearing about it and i
- totally refused to watch any of the network miniseries on this because i
- think it's entirely brain-dead and i don't want to do anything that might
- encourage the networks to pull this kind of stunt again. furthermore, i
- can't think of anyone involved for whom i'd want to, in any way, contribute
- to their wealth and wellbeing. and the fcc is going after stern and not
- this kind of crap? unbelievable. the stuff is *totally* devoid of redeeming
- social value [which makes it seem pretty obscene to me]...
