- Two ways:
-
- 1) get Gemulator (the Atari ST emulator for the PC) then run ST Xformer
- (the Atari 400/800 emulator for the ST) on it. Essentially running
- an emulator on top of an emulator. Not recommended because it ends up
- running very slow and Gemulator doesn't fully support it. But you
- could try.
-
- 2) I'm working on a PC version of Xformer hopefully to be ready in about
- 6 months. I demoed it at a few Atari shows in 1991 but it didn't
- receive much interest (8-bitter don't buy PCs???) so it's been a
- pretty low priority project. The speed figures I get now are about
- 500% the speed of an Atari 400/800 on a 486/33.
-
- What kind of stuff are you looking to run on it besides the obvious
- case of disk based games?
